The Team

Reality Check Uganda is comprised of a team of young talented and experienced journalists who are passionate about the role that the media plays in promoting democracy and respect for human rights and dignity.
Being an independent nonprofit making newsroom, our team of talented journalists focus on producing political stories that are in the public interest.
We publish creative and intelligent journalism with the purpose of raising the level of civic awareness in Uganda.
The Team is headed by Joseph Elunya, a journalist with more than 17 years experience in reporting for local and international media.
He has worked with The Institute for War and Peace Reporting, Voice of Teso, Uganda Radio Network, Radio Netherlands Worldwide-Africa Desk and The Continent Observer.
Joseph  Elunya is a 2018 on Demand Professional Investigative Journalism Fellow

Joe holds Diploma in Journalism, BA Ethics, Development studies and Master of Science in Monitoring and evaluation.
