Civil society organizations have threatened to go to court if the proposed electoral reforms are passed by parliament.
Last week the attorney general presented to parliament the reforms, which among other things proposes that political parties are not supposed to associate with pressure groups, cameras and phones banned from the polling station, security officers to vote five days before the polling date.
But, speaking to the media this morning the Executive Director of constitutional center for governance Sarah Birete said that the proposed electoral reforms will not ensure transparency in the elections.
Birete says that they will not be left with any option but to sue if the reforms are passed in the way they have been presented.
Forum for Democtatic Change party have also rejected the reforms.
